ELECTRICITY NOW!

The Electricity Now! Project delivers electricity to rural areas independent of connection to the traditional grid. Implemented in several communities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, a market test has been concluded and is operating with 40 photovoltaic solar systems in Encruzilhada do Sul, 20 systems in Sao Jose do Norte and one experimental model in Osorio.

This project serves rural homes with lighting, radio, television, water pumping, cell phone charges and other domestic and productive uses.

In Osorio, solar systems are being used for lighting advertisement panels along roads.

The Electricity Now Project differs from traditional systems that sell solar panels because IDEAAS makes the full investment in equipment and infra-structure, providing users with a independent and fast service at accessible cost.
